We are moving forward. We fly out Monday!

It been so so long time since we posted.  A lot has happened since then too!

We have just completed an online auction just a little bit ago with the major help of a friend from Loving, Giving, and Empower.  Thanks to awesome donor and bidder we brought in about $2,200 from it. That was a major help financially.  We also had two matching grants one for $600 and one for $1,000.   These two grants were both matched fully with out pre-planned fundraising.  Lastly we had a variety of big big donations out of no where.  God is definitely providing everything we need and more to bring these girls hopefully.

We are under $1800 from being fully funded meaning no long term loans from the adoption itself. Yes we have depleted our saving and we will need to rebuild that.   We will also need to buy another van that will hold our entire family and three new wardrobes.  These things however can be done with time.  The girls will hopefully soon have a forever family with a mom and dad and 4 sisters at home that are eager to meet them.  They also will get to remain together which is also so very very important.

In the next couple of weeks if everyone could pray for us as we travel internationally to meet with our girls.  Pray for the hearts of all involved.  That the girls are prepared for a family and that everyone else believes them having a family is a great thing.  Pray for safety for our travels and pray for our girls and family at home.  Pray that they all know we love them and they understand our end goal is to fulfill God's call for our lives which is to help care for the orphans buying giving these kids a family.

We knew going into this journey that we could only accomplish this if it was God call for our lives. .We prayed and prayed that God would provide all he believed we needed.  We fund raised and saved like crazy these last 6 months. He has provide a ton for us in the last six months and we know he will continue.  We know that in the following weeks, months, years God will test us and we will have more then we can handle.  Although things will be tough the bible has said the following.

1 Corinthians 10:13 says No temptation (test) has overtaken you except what is common to mankid. And God is faithful; he will not let you be temped (tested) beyond what you can bear.  But when you are tempted (tested), he will also provide a way out so that you can endure it.

So whatever we are put through God will not let us be tested beyond what we can bear and he will provide a way out so we can endure it if we are faithful.  God will be strong for us especially when we are weak.  He will help us endure everything which we are thankful for as long as we are dependent on him.  Total dependence on God is not a sign of weakness it a place of surrender which acknowledges we can do nothing apart from him!  :)
